iPod touch new computer

Old computer died, have a new one! Now I need to update and re-sync an itouch, I have heard the music and apps that were purchased will reload but I am concerned about my contacts and calender. Am I going to lose them?????
 
Syncing

Syncing to a new pc only involves your media and apps. Contacts and such won't be deleted when syncing to a new pc.
