New contact= Which account is it saved to?

I have a few accounts set up on my phone. When I save a new contact, how do I know which account it gets saved to? Thanks.

In Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, in the Contacts section there is an option to set the default account.

But what if I want to save a contact to one account and then a minute later save a contact to another account? In android, when setting up a new contact, one of the options you get to choose is what account you want it saved to...

There's no way in iOS to specify the account you'd like to save the contact to. There are apps in the app store that let you move contacts between accounts (and sync). One of them is Contact Mover & Account Sync. Good luck.
