Getting a new copy of Office:
I have a simple question about installing Office 2021.
I have seen these instructions on the net:
Go to Microsoft's website: setup.office.com.
Create a new Microsoft account or sign in to your existing one.
Enter the product key you purchased.
Download and install your product.
But, first is that the correct procedure?
Should I completely uninstall Office 2019 before doing the list above?
Can you leave 2019 installed without creating issues?

Yes, the Office installer will take you through the steps to remove other Office software.
I think you can choose to ignore that part of the setup, but why would you?
Why would you keep two versions of Office on one computer?

Thanks for the reply. I am just insecure regarding Office, as I rely on Word and Excel so much for my work. I am a translator and word especially is essential in my daily work flow. Powerpoint, I use maybe once a year. I don't need two Office installs of course, just worried that the new version will not install correctly.
Anyway, thanks again!
