Perception is everything (or almost), isn't it? However, this article is no real surprise. Vista did so poorly, and was received so badly initially that it has been playing "catch-up" in the public mind ever since. Indeed, I get the sense that even if MS do iron out all of the problems, flaws - and perceived bloated anture - of Vista, it will never be fully accepted by the wider Windows market. Consumer resistance, is what the old economic texts, would have termed it. MS may end up cutting their losses, and getting the next package out earlier, instead. Cheers.
