umm, we got my MBP (specs in the sig) at the Sunion/Apple Store (official) at Wan Chai.
First one had flickering lines - I took it to the shop the next day, and he gave me a new MBP without even opening the old one. He asked me to check the new one in the shop, and I found one stuck pixel, and he Immediately pulled out a new one
Right after the second MBP he tried to upgrade me to the higher end model for free, but his supervisor caught him - he apologised for the trouble, and gave me this MBP (which is working fine :) ) also got the iPad 1 from the same shop, plus a bunch of accessories
i dont see the problem with the current system^^^

you can buy an apple product anywhere in Hong Kong (even the local street vendor can sell you an iPhone). I was always surprised that there was no Apple Store in HK, but it is one of the easiest places in the world to buy istuff.

Definitely! I bought one on the street in Kowloon on my last trip, and it was an especially cool one-- the label said "iPhome." This mispelling has to be a one-of-a-kind defect, so I'm really excited at getting this collector's item! It was really cheap too!

;)

This applies to most of the countries without Apple Stores. There are many countries without Apple store and most of the apple products can be easily purchased there.

I walked by yesterday and they have signs up saying the store will open Qtr 4 this year. Does not mention that its an apple store though.

Does that mean store will open near Christmas? I guess you will get to see the Apple name only the day it has that grand opening ;)
