iPod new earphones??!

hey all, apple just sent me a new shuffle email...
if you look at the earphones tat come out of the shuffles you can see two different types of earphones - the new, updated, presumably curved ones, and a different type, which is similar to the previous gen..? or are they new? wierd...

I think we'll have to take your word for any changes to the ear buds as the photos you attached don't include the ear buds themselves, only the cables to them.

sorry i was talking about the jacks of the earphones, where it connects to the ipo itself
