That's not an envelope, it's a "play" button to show you're playing music.

EDIT: Oh! I see it now, in the screenshot-within-the-screenshot. Huh, interesting.

Pretty sure that's a jailbroken phone. You can get those notification icons with jailbroken phone.

Yeah, I preferred the full-screen screenshots from the 2.0 App Store, much nicer for getting an idea of what an app looked like. 🙂

The developer of that app must have been working on a jailbroken phone..I used to have a 2g jailbroken phone. I wish I can have those notifications on my 3gS 🙁

They have notifications for SMS, MMS, MAIL and weather too iirc
