New energy drink called Cocaine

If I bought a drink called "cocaine" I'd assume that it actually had cocaine in it.

They better have a large disclaimer on the packaging, otherwise I see some lawsuits coming.
 
Coca-Cola had real cocaine way back in the day. This new stuff - sounds vile. Nothing like twitchin' your way to an early heart attack. Speed kills.

Does sound more like something you'd take when you're really sick.

Once, back in the day when I was a bachelor on the Maine coast, I bought ephedrine instead of Sudafed for a cold. I felt so much better so fast -- I went bowling and I remember my friend saying to me "Dude -- why are you taking trucker's speed?"

Good times.

But yeah. Cocaine the drink. I don't think so. Even as cool as cocaine is as a verb in that sentence. I don't think so.

mmmmm. truckers speed... i used to love those white crosses back in the day... you could get them at any convience store. marketed to asthmatics 🙂

i would eat 10 or 15 of those and drink a 12 pack.... hair tingling and all!

the good ole' days....

One of the core ingredients of crytal meth in fact - the main reason cold medication with pseudoephedrine is behind the pharmacy counter in most states now. In Chicago-land they look at your state ID, write down the license number and make you sign a waiver before selling you anything like sudafed.
 
damn you older guys had it good. Us youngens can't get our hands on anything like that (ephedrine) legally. The joys of the good old days eh?

They can't import that drink here in Australia because the caffeine levels were above acceptable levels.

I'm pretty sure there are still Ephedrine-based diet products available on the internet. I doubt those sketchy diet companies require a photo ID.

I saw them talking about this on the tool Glenn Beck's show.

I thought of Chappelle's Show when he plays the crack addict and drinks "Red Balls"

"Its cocaine in a can baby!!!!"
 
How far are they going to take these energy drinks? The amount of caffeine in that drink can't be good for you.

isnt ephedrine the stuff that guy took in the movie Crank and then he couldnt stop running
 
Banned for sale here in Australia. What a stupid idea for a drink, "yeah let's just pack in more caffeine, surely everybody would looove to feel as sick as you would after 6 coffees from just one drink."

Too. Far.
 
I kind of balked at the name of this, but I think it is one of those things I'm going to have to try once. However it'll probably be durring a school vacation so I don't risk crashing in class. Like when I tried no-doze before my chemistry final. Bad idea. Not recomended.
