I ran Disc Utility for the first time since installing Big Sur yesterday. This came up:
warning: MT mapping (0x4000000ab3f49 -> 0xd164b0, 18, C) is not completely referenced
Too many warnings of this type generated; suppressing subsequent ones.
The volume /dev/disk0s2 appears to be OK.
Storage system check exit code is 0.
That's just the bottom, there was a long list of the mapping error warning (and even Disc Utility gave up 🙂 )
I've searched online and found it first appeared in Catalina. While there are lots of questions about it, I can't find any answers.
I never saw it in Catalina and run Disc Utility about one a week. First time seen is now.
Anyone have any ideas? Is it something to be concerned about? It did finish off indication all was OK.
