i'm officlally a geek now. I had a dream last night about a new feature in Tiger. While it was not that useful it was pretty cool. Basically it was this: If you grabbed the far left or far right of the top sides of the top bar in any window, you could rotate it to wherever you wanted...and if you were close to any 4 sides it would snap to it. Again, i don't know if this is useful at all, but it was a lot of fun.

Rotate it to anywhere you want? What does that mean? Rotating would require a 3D implementation of GUI, but if you just mean moving, then that might be possible with a haxie.

I think he might be talking about a project looking glass kind of thing. There was a video for this SUN software a while back, I'm sure you can google it.

I would like the menu bar to be duplicated on both of by displays, but not have them be mirored (sp??). So that way I can have my 12" screen, and a 15" screen, but be able to check the iChat menu applet from teh 15" screen and not move the pointer all the way across the screen.

Window snap edges (or snap borders) are a very cool feature. For most OSes you can only get this through a hack -- I think only some Linux distros and eComStation on the PC have it built-in. Would be nice to have in Tiger, along with being able to resize windows from any corner and not just the lower-right.
