New Folders Bug

Tried to create a new folder on the Mavericks Desktop. Nothing appeared. Tried again. Nothing appeared. Restarted Mavericks & two new folders then appeared on the Desktop.

Doesn't happen for me.

How did you try to create a new folder ?

Also what build number are you using ?

That's really odd. I've been using Mavericks since DP4 and I have never came across that bug. Can you re-create the bug? The reason I ask is because if not, it could have just been something to do with Spotlight re-indexing after the update to Mavericks on your machine.

Not sure of the version (not at Macbook) but it was freshly downloaded from App Store yesterday.

I double tap the Desktop and select New Folder.

Only done it once (only tried once) so may have just been a tiny glitch. It was just odd.

Probably to be expected.
