Sorry if this is in the wrong Thread but, the new keyboard folio is awesome! i love the design and the magnets are so much stronger!

even though i am bummed there is no backlit keyboard

I agree with everything you said! I love how well it sits in my lap! Everything is so sturdy feeling. I am using the 12.9 one and cannot believe all the awesomeness of everything

I was also bummed that Apple decided not to include backlit keys. I personally need them. Way to many long overnight flights that I looked to get some work finished up. I did notice the new most upright iPad position provides a little more light on the keys. Not enough for long work but a little better to help get me started. Other than that I’m really pleased.

I’m going to wait it out until Brydge bring out their backlit keyboard for the new Pro’s.

The new Folio Keyboard seems ‘more committed’ to being a keyboard than the Smart Keyboard was. It’s definitely aimed at people who usually use a keyboard, where as I feel the previous one was for people who occasionally use a keyboard.

It’s not for me but I’m glad other people are liking it.

It’s certainly a great design, but I also hear where you are coming from. I purchased both to see which works best with me and then plan to return the other one.

When I figured out I could buy Folio + Magic Keyboard for same price as Folio Keyboard that convinced me to stick with the regular Folio.

But vive la différence!
