Any way to generate a tag cloud from vBulletin?
Click on the "Tags" title at the bottom of any thread page, and you'll be taken here. Not entirely intuitive...you have to notice it's a link and click it to see where it leads.

Fight the good fight. I'm going to have a beer.
I'm not sure how eventually useful the feature might become, but it's worth keeping, I guess. Any way to generate a tag cloud from vBulletin? And if so, would it be worth making that a feature somewhere?

I guess I just don't see any possible advantage to these tags which makes them worth the bother.
Isn't there a simpler way to highlight announcements without invoking the whole "tags" fustercluck?Well, clicking on the "announcement" tag on this thread quickly takes you to a bunch of other forum announcements...that seems like it could be useful at times.

We're trying to give up on wide-open tag adding and limit it to posters tagging their own threads, which has been our intention all along. In practice, every time we close one access door, it seems that vBulletin has left another one open. We're getting there though.![]()
There's been a suggestion to add more thread prefixes for that purpose, but while we consider the idea you and other thread-starters are free to experiment with any tags you think would be helpful. So maybe this would finally be a good way to group and easily find all the UK marketplace posts?
