Benchmarks are meaningless unless you play AAA console level games on your phone; games such as the Resident Evil series, Death Stranding and Assassins Creed Mirage.
Every phone released in the last three years is overpowered for 99% of users who simply browse the internet, use social media, listen to music, instant message, take photographs, video call, use GPS, banking apps and stream videos, etc…

I usually run benchmarking software when intentionally running down my battery when I do battery calibrations for my iPhones after replacing them with new batteries. This is the only time I usually benchmark my iPhones.
Not too often. Typically when changing out batteries on my iPhones when I benchmark them. How often do you do this?

I will update my results on this post after rerunning my benchmark tests with my devices not in low power mode. It did not occur to me that being in low power mode affected benchmark test results. @Homme good call!👍🏽iPhone 16 Pro 1TB

not sure why my GPU benchmark went down on my 16 Pro when I ran my test today but this is the result.
I’m on iOS 27 Developer Beta 4 and on 100% charge with a magsafe charger/cooler attached while running Geekbench 7 on it. I don’t see SIRI updating in the background anymore but wonder if it’s something else regarding the Developer Beta that is affecting my GPU score?16 Pro's GPU results look low either way. More typically between 25-30K. Curious if your phone was fully/mostly charged, already warm, and/or if substantial background activity?
