Hey everyone! I'm new to the Apple experience, having just bought a 20" Imac. It's been surprisingly easy to learn this new OS (Leopard), but I have a question I can't seem to figure out myself. How does one change the default search engine on Safari (Google) to Altavista?

PS I'm never going back to PC's ! ! !

+1 for AcidSearch its the easiest and best way to change Safari's default search engine. theres also Inquisitor which allows you to use localised Google and Yahoo search engines.

Just tried this, but I get the following message when I run Safari:

Safari 3.0.4 (v5523.15) has not been tested with the plugin (null) (null) (v0.62). As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer for further information.

And all I want to do is change the default search engine to Google.co.uk!
