My mbp 2008 aluminum body froze today I waited then did a hard reset. I turned I back on grey screen then eventually the folder icon came. I tryed running in safe to find the os but I just freezes. I'm going to do a few moee things to see if I can get it working but my question is..
Can I install my own hd then boot with maverick from a usb? I dunno if maverick is just an update or canbe used to do a full install. My disks are at homr and I wwon't be there for 2 months
