New Headphone Suggestions Welcome!

    Hi all!

    My iPhone 4 headphones recently broke and I was hoping for some ideas about a new pair which have the mic/remote built in. any suggestions would be great!!! thanks

    Tons of these, some good priced ones that work well are the zagg smartbuds. My brother seems to be happy with them, although there are some mixed reviews about this product on this forum, My brother seems to like them and I have no problems with the other zagg buds that they discontinued.

    I've got the SoundMagic PL11 and I absolutely love them. Decent price too.

    I bet you if you search Headphones and you will find allot of info all depends on you budget. you can spend $20 to $1000 I just ordered the HT-21 from Meelectronics should get it tomorrow. I will be among the 1st I plan to review it. http://www.meelec.com/category_s/336.htm

    and those are what? those just look bizarre headphones should be the over the ear type while earphones would be IEM or in ear.

    Those are the Sennheiser ie8 I think. Those are the flagship Sennheiser ie model.

    ie8s don't have an inline remote or mic i believe. they offer little to no isolation too.

    Yes they don't come with a mic or control buttons on the cable but you can now buy the new ie8i cable and use it on the ie8's :)

    The isolation is not the best with the tips provided but comply tips make a good difference!

    yep they suck! :rolleyes: your suggesting a $400 pair I'm guessing that is a little more then the TS wants to spend. I'm trying to make reasonable suggestions. I was merely talking about modifying his ear buds and I am trying to suggest the Apples ear buds aren't worth it. they still might want to do it. lets see if he is interested before going over kill.

    +1 Even though I rarely use my wired headphones anymore, I still from time to time enjoy the S4i's.

    thanks for the help, i think i am going to try the Sony MDREX38iP or Klipsch IMAGE S4i-WH... because they both have the 3 button remote :apple:
