Hello everybody!

I'm looking for a new headset preferably in ear headphones or over hear headset that costs between 100-160€. I have done some research a Sennheiser seems like a viable option but I'm looking for some personal experiences.
(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong category)

Thanks in advance!

I have 3 favorite headphones, rather 2 headphones made by Grado - an old pair of SR80 cans and a newer pair of SR325e cans - plus a headset. My Mac, iPhone and iPad drive the Grado cans quite well - I'm using the SR325e cans right now listening to some classic Aerosmith. My tastes run from phat music to prog rock to metal to country - don't judge, that's just me... ;)

My favorite portable headset is the beyerdynamic T51i - Ken Rockwell seem to agree somewhat (http://www.kenrockwell.com/audio/beyer/t51i.htm). I snagged a pair here in the US on a quiet sale at Adorama (US$200) a while ago, but friends of mine on your side of The Pond have told me that beyerdynamic offers unannounced sales on their own site just as they do here. I use my T51i with my iPhone 6S+ or the same headset attached to a Dragonfly Red and the headset just sounds awesome IMHO. I burned in the T51i for about 100 hours and it's my go-to travel headset. These cans are one of the first items I pick up for my "go bag" when I travel. Voice quality of the microphone isn't that bad, so I've been told... Cheers!

Well thanks for sharing! Those T51i's look good for on the go and that's what I'm looking for. The other to seem like great headsets but not for when you are moving all the time. IF you have any in-ear headset recommendations don't hold it back! But already a big thank you!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of IE headsets - I'm old and whiny. My only set of IE headphones that I use are a pretty old set of Sonys that's about 15 years old that I'm still happy with. My GF, however, is an IEM nut - as in crazy person IMHO...

She offered that you should not waste your money on a IEM with an integrated mic and volume control. FWIW she's "borrowed" my T51i cans more than once. She made a trip to Japan a while ago and offered that she discovered a product that makes IEMs - those without a mic - far more attractive. Noble Audio sells what they call a BTS - what seems to be a rebranded (Japan-only AFAIK) Logitec LBT-AVR300 - a battery-powered BT mic and transceiver that doesn't suck. She's all in with a pair of Shure SE535LTD IEMs - which cost much more than I'd ever spend on IEMs (but I'll never tell her that... :yikes!:).

She offered that best "deal" for earbuds that are compatible with iOS devices is Shure's SE112m+. She has a pair for when she's on the train or around town. I tried them myself but still prefer what I use, because I'm old and whiny. With her Noble BTS, even my old Sony IEMs worked as a headset, pretty impressively at that - she just took off for the East Coast (we're from NY), so I can't offer a more-empirical offering on her BTS. Cheers!
