New here. Question about my Imac LCD

Hi there. This is hands down the most knowledgeable forum for Mac so I came here for answers.

I have a A1224 Imac Intel with a broken 20" LCD. Part#M201EW02 Version V.B

My question is, will an LCD with the same part number but different version number work? I have 2 options to buy right now. 1 is a version V.1 and the other is a version V.8. I believe they are from Dell computers but look identical.
I've searched forums with no luck on this issue so hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!!!!!!

Wouldn't it be simpler to find an older iMac LCD?
