Dear Apple,
Why didn't iOS 8 get the same pan zoom home screen layout as the Watch?

No need to worry about one hand mode for big phone or small phone.
Arrange anyway I like. Resize any way I Like.

I mean it just makes the current Springboard look so 2007

I hope this happens, the home screen is in dire need of an upgrade. Although if they did this the home button square would no longer make sense. Edit: I forgot that TouchID models don't have the square...well, there you go. Releasing it with iOS 9 will give app devs time to update their icons, I guess. They already have to scramble to support the new resolutions.

I didn't think they would change to the round icons.

Just use the same square icons but move away from pages and a fixed square grid space towards what seems to be a hexagonal grid centered around a key home icon.

Although they could use different icon shapes for different items.
