I have been reading all over. I take it you cannot jailbreak new i touch yet?
also, what are the benefits and disasters if any?😱

Yes, the current 2G iPod touch is impossible to jailbreak.

not impossible, just not a way to do it at this time

it will be able to be jailbroken at some point

I have an iPod touch and the album art works fine.
