New i7 15". Command prompt screen when booting OSX thinks there no free space.

I just got my 15" 2.2 with the stock 750 GB hard drive.

I noticed when the computer first booted up it went into this command line screen before OSX started.

I thought that was really strange but now OSX thinks the disk is full even though disk utility shows there is space available.

A similar situation in this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/424441/. No solution there except the problem seemed to go away after logging on as a different user.
