Does anyone know how I can make a new effect for iChat? I know that it's just a quartz animation, but I'm trying to make one of the "mask" style effects.
Basically, I want to take the image, cut out the eyes and mouth, and then have it overlayed onto the image from the iSight so that the mouth and eyes move within the body of the original.
I looked at some of the effects from the More iChat Effects program, specifically Gorille and Clown to see if I could just switch the image, but for some reason, it always wants to make it a backdrop and does the whole "please step out of the image" deal.
Any help, or pointers would be really great!
