Im about to get very very very upset! I was playing WoW when I heard a pop and then the iMac froze. I held in the power button to reset it and was greeted with

BEEP.........BEEP........BEEP In a repeating 3 Tone intervals!

Im BEYOND PISSED right now! I am assuming this this is Dead but any wisdom would help. Of course its a BTO also! I am very quickly losing faith is Apple, as every single product of theirs ive owned in the last 2 years has needed repair or replacement..

3 beeps indicates a memory problem. Reseat the memory and try a reboot. Otherwise call Apple.

Please, by all means do elaborate.

I'm on my second iMac and have nothing but praise for them. Unless I decide to go for a Mac Pro the next time around I'm fairly sure I will get another iMac as well.

Maybe the iMac wasn't the problem. 😉
