On the new iMac, are the FW800 and FW400 on the same bus? While looking at a iMac today, I looked at the device listing under firewire and only saw one entry saying speeds up to 800 Mbps. When I looked at the Mac Pro, there were seperate bus entries for both.
I was ready to buy the iMac, but if both firewire inputs go to the same bus, I am afraid of contention while capturing from my HD camcorder and writing to an external FW800 hard drive.
