New IMac keeps on freezing

My new I Mac worked pretty well for the first 3 weeks but now it's constantly freezing. I haven't visited untruthworthy sites and the only thing I've downloaded from the Internet is adobe Flash player. I'm scared because it's a pretty new expensive computer and already is freezing 🙁 my Mac book air has worked fine with no freezing problems.

Having same problem

My iMac is almost 3 years old and I started having problems just like that a week ago. Did you update recently? I wonder if the last update Apple provided caused these issues. I'm still under the extended warranty and plan to call them first thing tomorrow to make sure that it's not a hardware issue. I have a feeling it's not though.
