New iMac (M1) running Ventura will not scan with Epson multifunction printer.

I’m in a loop with Apple and Epson
New iMac (M1) running Ventura will print using my Epson XP-700 but will not recognise the scanner.
anybody had this problem and solved it?
I’ve updated the printer software, tried Epscan and tried Image Capture all without success

Have you tried connecting the printer to the iMac with a USB cable instead of WiFi? That worked for me a few times with an HP.

Yes I have, the iMac sees the printer but still no scan

and it works, shame about the cost for something that should work with Apple.
Maybe a future update will sort that out

Have you installed the latest Epson drivers. http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/product.asp where it says that Ventura is supported.

Epson supposedly sent me the latest driver and it didn’t work but I noticed the link you have sent me was from Epson Australia and was a slightly updated driver.
I am pleased to say it works.👍
