I posted my old design here but I updated it into something much better that I'd like to share with the MacRumors community. By the way--thanks for your feedback. I admit that my old version did look pretty ugly and I made it look at least somewhat better with these following pictures--thank you guys for giving me your honest perspectives. :)

I added the same poll to this thread that I put on the other one so that I can see if the MacRumors community thinks that this design is an improvement from what I posted before in the other thread.

To save on the loading speed I am only using thumbnails. The order of the images is as follows:
    1. Upright Position (Option 1) - Table Top View

    2. Easy Touch Position (Option 2) - Isometric View:

    3. Upright Position - Isometric View (Front 1):

    4. Upright Position - Isometric View (Front 2):

    5. Easy Touch Position - Isometric (Back):

Feel free once again to give me honest feedback. :)

    They should be up now.

Just add a keyboard and a mouse to this design and you are ready to go.

Here are some additional pictures for the upright position:

    1. Right View
    2. Left View
    3. Back View
    4. Front View
    5. Top and Bottom View

Um...isn't it basically your old design with slightly different rendering and more rounded edges?

It doesn't seem to have taken on much of the feedback from the other thread and to me it still doesn't look like something Apple would produce.

Thank you for all of those views and projections. Without them, it would have been tremendously difficulty to imagine what this proposed device looks like.

I think your new improved door-stopper / ergonomic pillow is a tremendous improvement, and will radically improve the performance of doors and sleepless sufferers everywhere.

I urge you to patent it quickly.

How many different angles to we really need to see of a simple wedge?

Well first of all I improved it various ways from the advice that I got and tried to make it look as "Apple-ish" as possible:
    1. People complained that it looked ugly so I played around with the fillet size until I got it just right for the "wedge" design.
    2. There were complaints that the screen couldn't be seen from across the room so I redesigned it so that it can have an upright position that will work.
    3. I rounded the whole front of the computer which increases the "smooth" design even more so that it has a more "Apple-ish" look that people were demanding.

Here are ways that I still can make it look more like a Mac:
    1. I can add a screen to the front of it (either through the program I'm using (SolidWorks) or through Photoshop).
    2. I can add the Apple logo to it (although I don't know where the logo would go as of yet but I have some ideas of how two logos could be put on it).
    3. I can add ports to it.
    4. I can render the design more realistically with other software--but the only problem is that I don't know of any that can render it better.
    5. I can color it the iMac white color.

Also, if you want me to, I can post an isometric of each of the 5 main iMac ideas that I came up with.

I think the curved edges are great improvement over the previous design, when it hits you in the back of the head as Peter Jones slings it at you as you leave the Dragons Den it won't hurt nearly as much.

Sorry if I've posted too many images.

Maybe the computer should ship with a warning--"Don't put a pillowcase over the computer and please don't sleep with computer" ;)

That's a pretty poor design and is a lot worse than mine. ;)

That reminds me...I could just send the file to you guys in a .zip file and you guys can download eDrawings to view my designs in 3D!

I've attached two files with a total of 5 designs on them. I posted the original design on another thread a few days ago and I posted my design #4 now. Design #2 is a nice design too and you might like it the best. Design #2 is in the "Other Designs" .zip file.

How else would Apple design the best multi-touch computer unless the screen was at a comfortable angle like I have shown with my design? Jeff Han used an angled touch screen which can be seen in this video.
