Hi all,

I just got my 27" late 2013 iMac today.

I'm trying to hook up my external monitors to it. I have:
- Asus 1440p monitor connected via a Mini Displayport to DP adapter (it supports the high res)
- LG 1920x1080 monitor connected via a Mini DP to DVI adapter.

When ONLY the Asus monitor is connected, it's fine. When I try to plug in the LG monitor, it doesn't work, and the Asus monitor starts flicking on and off.

Ideally I want 3 monitors for video editing.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Any thoughts? Is it even possible to hook up 2 external displays to the iMac?

Yes, your iMac supports two external displays and it should work like you have it set up via the MiniDP adaptors.

Have you tried to plug in just the LG monitor? Are you sure that the MiniDP to DVI adaptor works?
