New iMac: Since when can you hear the fan?

My iMac has a 512 GB SSD.

Hmmm ok, seems like many people can hear the airflow pretty well in quiet room

I can definitely hear the fan in the 2015 5k iMac (M395X) at idle. I am a bit of a silence freak, so I paid attention to it when I first got it. I gave it a week and now I don't really notice it at all. If you have any sort of background sound in your room, you probably won't notice it unless you tilt your ear toward the iMac and focus. It's a very quiet whisper. I would imagine the noise would only bother those were expecting zero-noise (unrealistic for any desktop machine) and/or are using their iMac in a dead silent environment.
