New IMac user how to add a cd reader to iMac m3?

Being a new IMac user is it possible to add an USB based cd reader to a new m3 IMac?

Yep, just plug one in. Ones with their own power supply (i.e. separate to the USB cable) tend to be more reliable.

Any USB equipped CD reader will be fine. There's enough "juice" in the USB ports for any unpowered CD reader tbh.

Sorry, should clarify, in my case it is the Mac mini M2 Pro. Just assuming Mac specs are similar for all models.
