I'm new to apple and just got my first iMac. It is disconnecting from wifi every couple hour and needs to be restarted to hook back up again. It's not a big deal to restart but it doesn't seem like something I should have to do.

Is there some trick I'm not aware of to keep it connected?

I don't own an iMac yet, but from what I've read this is a known issue that effects imacs sometimes. Some people just opt to plug in a cable, but I know that isn't a real fix for the issue. Hopefully somebody comes along with some info for you.
