Hi Everyone,

Finally I am going to bite the bullet and buy an Imac. so far I will be taking advantage of the student discount. Anyways what I have choosen is the I7 Imac but still considering the fusion drive over the SSD. But I am planning to go all SSD any advice. Or is it best to get the fusion drive instead of SSD. Moderate Video editing and pictures.

Get the biggest SSD you can afford and buy an external drive down the line if you need additional storage. If you absolutely need a fusion drive, get a 2 TB or 3 TB as they have a 128 GB SSD portion. The 1 TB fusion drive only has a paltry 32 GB SSD, which will fill up really quickly and the drive probably won't be that much faster than a regular hard drive.

so far I am looking at the 516GB SSD instead of the smaller one. I have a 4K monitor that I might end up sale since don't need it after this purchase. Anyways I am trying to keep it under 3,000 including taxes.
