from what i have heard there is going to be a revision of the iMac this June. i was just wondering what people thought that they are actually going to do to the iMac. my guess/hope is that:

    they have quad core
blu-ray (since hddvd is gone and apple do want to push brd forward)
better mouse (ie no ball and easier double click)
higher res screen or bigger screens

the last one is def a hope. a 26" would be nice since i have a 26" tv in my room. so it would look quite good

just wondering what you guys thought.......
(does anyone know when the presentation in june is going to take place, ie what day)

I don't want to dash your hopes, but I believe it is very unlikely they will make such changes. Most likely you are just looking at a minor speed bump an no other major design changes.

Intel might have the quad core mobile CPUs out by summer (can't recall), but I expect they will be very expensive ($1000+) which means the top-end iMac would likely see a price increase of $500-750.

I also can't see Apple going with a screen size larger then 24". A 30" iMac with a quad-core CPU would likely be within spitting distance (~$500) to a single CPU Mac Pro with a 30" ACD in price and at that point, most folks would take the Mac Pro for "future proofing" I would think.
