So. I had bought a 24" iMac to keep at work on the weekdays, bring home on weekends. Now the company I work for is starting to profit, and they want me to keep the iMac at work 100% of the time, so they are going to reimburse me for what I bought it for.
I don't remember, and like a chump, I lost the receipt.
Does anyone know or have any idea what this mac would have cost?
-24", 2.8ghz core duo, 4GB 800mhz, "model identifier imac 8,1"
I think with applecare it was $2,100? Does that sound right?
2nd question? Should I buy a brand new 27" one, or get a used identical one for much cheaper?
I use it for pretty much strictly photography and design when at home, I do not need to edit video or anything. I wonder if I really would need the extra muscle that the 27" comes with?
How much should I shoot for when looking at a used one identical to my current iMac?
