Hi, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of when a new line of iMac's will be released. I know they recently released a new 5K version and about a year ago a very basic 500 GB/1.4 GHz version was made available, but it seems like they need to release a new version comparable to the 2.7 GHz/2.9 GHz ones soon.

Any ideas of what Apple's plans for this may be.

Thank you!!

When Intel gets their act together and ship quad-core desktop Broadwells, then Apple will refresh their line.

The iMac will likely skip Brodwell for Skylake putting it on track for an October or November refresh, since current projections put Skylake desktop CPUs at a Q3 2015 release.
