Isn't it possible the the Thunderbolt part has just received poor lighting or taken some hit from somewhere causing the blurriness?

Agreed myself actually, I did say tehre was a 10% margin of error, probably due to lighting in certain positions as mentioned by Hellhammer. Will change the title and topic to reference to your picsStop trying to show off pseudo-PS skillz & get over it, it's the real deal

There's a lot of factors that could have caused that text to be blurred or unclear like lighting or just a problem with the printing process on the packaging.
Thats what I keep thinking because all we are seeing is the 13 inch, and no one is posting anything about the 15 or 17.

That this is the 13 MB Pro model?
I don't think Apple would redesign only the 15' and the 17', and leave the 13' the way it is.
Unless the low-end 13" is the MacBook replacement and they want to differentiate the high-end models.
Which essentially means that the low end 13" will have a 2.1 GHz i3 and the high end 13" will have a 2.3 GHz i5. Or that the low end 13" will have a 2.3 GHz i5 and the high end will have a 2.5 GHz i5.
