So I was thinking that we might as well compile a list of changes in the newest build. To start things off:

1. Macbook Pro 2011 support
2. New iCal look

Launchpad is now fixed.. Click and hold to move multiple apps (shakes like iPhone)

When launching expose dock doesn't crash any more...

Much snappier in performance

Has anyone noticed when shutting down the menu bar up top stays into the blue screen?

Has anyone noticed when shutting down the menu bar up top stays into the blue screen?
Also has anyone noticed that spot light doesn't show apps anymore?

So does the Launchpad have an easy way to remove icons yet?

Is there a DMG or is the App Store / Redemption Code the only way to update? What about offline computers?

Redemption code seems to be the only way. For some reason I can't get mine to work.

-Preview has a loupe tool like Aperture does.

-Spotlight menu has options to "Search Web" and "Search Wikipedia"

-"Send Do Not Track HTTP Header" option in Safari

-Font Book has a "Find fonts anywhere on this computer" option

Full screens apps now have a transition-drop down menubar rather than one that covers up the top of the application now.

Don't know about you guys, but this new iCal is killing me. Just doesn't look right.

It moves down the same way that the buttons operate, they are now sliders (like in System Preferences Expose > Spaces).

Care to upload a screenshot? (only and only if you feel comfortable)

P.S. Are we allowed to ask questions in this thread?

Before, the menubar would slide down and cover the toolbar.

Ah, I see. Thanks, guys.

By the way, when re-arranging Launchpad, creating folders, deleting, moving icons around, etc., does the order stay the same after restart? In DP1, it resets to default layout. Ta.

Can you only get one code per dev account? What if I want to install on multiple computers?

The thing that downloads from the App Store is the installer. Once you have it on one computer, you just copy it to another.

Launchpad is now an app in the Applications folder, and can be removed from the Dock.

Is frontrow back?

No, and they removed the mention of it from the Sound prefpane. ("Play Front Row sound effects")

Can we perform a clean installation with DP2 or do we have to first install DP1? I just deleted the original Lion installation image from my backup drive, thinking I could restore the DP2 image to an external drive and boot from there. But it looks more like this requires Lion DP1. How do I download DP1 again from the AppStore if I need it? :(

Regarding the launchpad... I can't remove applications anymore...
When I click "option" the icons get to "shake" but there is not X sign to click to delete the app... they just wiggle and can't be deleted.
Any of you the same?

Also very difficult to move them around...

In my experience launchpad was working better on preview 1!

Ideas?
