hi all,

so for how long will the PowerPC line be supported after the switch to Intel?

i mean, i don't see Adobe and Alias creating 2 versions of their application line.

What's your opinion on that?

Not intending to offend anyone, but this topic has been discussed many times on these forums. Please use Search for "Intel Adobe" and "intel Alias" to find this answer. You can also look up "Universal Binaries" to find more information in regards to programs and how they can and will be compiled for PPC and Intel.

My concern are the pro apps that arent't used by a large user base......
for example Maya, Combustion or Shake............

I am pretty sure a complex app like Maya won't work by using the converting library.....
