But Apple already responded to that bug so I bet the next iOS update will have all the fixes... Earlier next week 🙂

What makes you think that? They knew about the backdoor before the last few updates, but hadn't made corrections then.

Didn't the guy in the video say that Apple is aware of this issue?

Yes, and they were made aware of it when iOS6 was first released... yet, they had no problem releasing 6.1 and 6.1.1 without changing anything.

That's great that they were able to move so quickly on those recently reported bugs, but they make no mention of the problem the OP pointed out.

i assumed this was on that passcode security flaw that's out there now, maybe next time i should actually read the thread

And even that pass ode bug hasn't been fixed with the newly released 6.1.2 update. So still not quite as quick even with widely publicized and acknowledged bugs.

To be fair I think they're just being methodical about things - obviously there's a crop of bugs crept into 6.x and they're tackling each in turn rather than pushing out some massive update fixing everything which might just introduce more probs.

This, I fully expect iOS 6.1.3 next week or so fixing a few more things
