New iOS keybaord?

I was reading over the iOS page on the iPad site and this caught my eye. This looks to me like a new security feature in iOS but then I also noticed that the keyboard was black. Anyone have any insight to this. Is it something that I am overlooking? Let me know.

Because it's the lock screen, they made the keyboard black like the bar across the top with the time and date.

It's (the lock-screen keyboard) definitely sleek and I do like it but it wouldn't fit in with the OS like the "normal" keyboard does.
