New iPad 2 constantly crashing. Help please.

Received a refurb iPad 2 from Apple yesterday. Set it up last night and can get only 3-5 minutes (sometimes less) of use before it crashes and reboots itself. The app doesn't seem to matter. Hooked up to my Macbook or not doesn't seem to matter. I just bought an app that gives a picture of the activity going on during use and most of the memory space is free. When doing a check with the multitasking bar (I think it's called) any app that I have used is still there even after I have quit it. One recommendation was to delete those apps showing in that task bar and then restart. Did that. Same result.

Help please.

It may come to that. Too bad, I have been looking forward to this for several months.

Haven't done it yet. Waiting for some more advice on an iPad forum.

Third restore. Same problem. Called an Apple Store today and am going in tomorrow to return the iPad 2 and get a new iPad (3rd generation). I did learn that I can get by with the 16 GB Wi-Fi model. Thanks for all the advice.

Got a new iPad (3rd generation) today. Setting it up and have no crashing problems so far.
