New iPad has been jailbroken "no eta"

    Nice. I was waiting to decide whether to upgrade til it's been jailbroken.... Looks like I might have to decide sooner than I thought!

    yeah, those guys kick a$$!

    i'm interested in installing 5.1 to my JB'd ipad2 to see if it fixes the wireless and battery issues that accompanied iOS 5. there was no way that i would install the update if it meant sacrificing the JB.

    This is the second best thing of today after getting the iPad. Awesome news.

    I wonder how many incremental sales Apple gets when a jailbreak is announced. I wasn't planning on buying it initially, but I know I bought the iPad 2 as a direct reaction to the jailbreak finally coming out. With the iPad 3 (I know, but we can't call it "new" forever), I pulled the trigger seeing how similar it was to the A5 chip and assuming today's news of the vulnerability would come to fruition.

    I bet there are a lot of people who will pull the trigger once this JB is announced and then more when it actually is released. Apple should be paying the Dev Team a commission, LOL

    So excited for the jailbreak. The iPhone dev team guys are awesome. Love my iPad 3 (first one for me)

    Please reference one of the many threads already talking about it. Jailbreaking isnt for everyone, some people find it useful, some do not.
