New iPad Hotspot Feature - Some Confusion Here

I have called AT&T twice now about the hotspot feature and both times they have checked and verified hotspot will be allowed on the new device. Maybe I am getting better information since I am a business account user and they are better trained?

Whats the confusion? you'll need the 5gb plan to tether

That works for me... Just lots of stories being posted about AT&T not supporting...
