This is a serious question.
Who cares? Aren't most people on this website from the United States?

But there is no reason to believe some here don't find this interesting or are "Americano Gringos" only. :D We could have people from all over the world in our little Rumor mill house of worship.

Viva Cinco de Mallo liqueur fest USA. :p

i have seen lots of bad english but no foreign languages on macrumours.

is there something in the rules about this?

I'm not sure about rules...

This is probably the largest Mac site on the web and if you have a question, using English will get more responses, sometimes good sometimes bad ;) The quality of responses has gone down hill since I joined the site, but there are still many helpful people. I focus my efforts more on problem solving other users issues than posting opinions, but every once in awhile I go on a rant like this ;)

I don't complain about bad English bc sometimes native English speakers have the worst, whether grammar, misspellings, or because they are using autocomplete on a mobile device. Sometimes it's late at night, sometimes early in the the morning, sometimes people are in a rush and just want to get their point across, 2 of which apply to my response ;)

I'm not picking on you, since you have a valid question.

I know sometime times I have to reread my entire post, if I have any errors, half are my mind working faster than my fingers and the other half is my iPad autocomplete.

I give every nonnative English speaker an A for effort for posting here.

I doubt many Scots, Yanks etc... Participate much on French, German, Korean, or Chinese Mac forums or any forums that are not in English.

When I travel internationally, the locals appreciate if I at least try to start the conversation in their local language...

Summary:
If you have a Mac question and you want it answered fast, with many responses/opinions/expertise, Macrumors is the #1 site on the web but you need to ask your question in English or use a translation service. I say this not just as a member but more of fact from many years experience. This website is much more helpful than the apple support forums bc more experienced Mac users participate on this forum that any other.

Sorry rant over ;)

At first I thought for it to be free give aways in north Korea, but as usual, same losers, different place, hysterically lined up with nothing better to do.

Why is the store called "Frisbee?"

It's called Frisbee because it's the official "reseller" not the Apple store.

There are actually several other resellers here, but yeah, no Apple stores. To their credit, the resellers have increasingly copied the look and customer service of Apple stores abroad. They're comparatively limited financially though -- the small store in the video is Frisbee's flagship, and the biggest that I've seen here. Guessing only Apple would have the finances to build larger stores. And guessing that Samsung uses its considerable political clout to stop Apple from doing so. A lot of folk here are fed up with Samsung cos of this kinda thing. It influences media stories even (funds newspapers etc). Not saying that Apple wouldn't do the same given the chance, but it's sure sad and frustrating.

Looking forward to my Retina display!

When in Taiwan?

I've been waiting patiently.... When is the new iPad going to be available in Taiwan? I would have thought we would get it sooner than most countries.

Pity the video didn't happen a couple of months ago. You then might have seen the store next door that recently folded. Was a carrier store stocking non-Apple products. Went in once to look at a computer, and never again. Rudest staff you can imagine -- felt like you were intruding on their conversations. Store atmosphere really does make a difference. The competitor store was normally empty and, like I said, closed.

It's interesting that here in Portugal iPads are out of stock since release and actually I have an unresolved order for 3 weeks now!!!

Actually, I found out that not many Koreans know what a Frisbee actually is!

I laughed first time I saw the store name, but it seems it's a pretty popular place nowadays. As others have said, they have replicated the look of official apple stores, so they are doing a pretty good job of offering an apple-like experience.
