New Ipad Owner

Just picked up a 32Gb ipad 3g open box buy from BB which was purchased and returned the same day and save some $. The thing is awesome which every that has it already knows. Question: Might it be possible to access a external hard drive on my wifi to pull pictures, files, or music from and to the ipad.
