I just got a ipad pro 10.5. I've charged it for How long does it take you to charge to 100 percent? Seems to be a lot slower than my older ipad. I've charged it for 2 hrs and its about 65% right now. Is this correct?

I don’t recall one long it took, but I do recall the first charge being slow because my iPad was restored but downloading photos, etc in the background for some time after the restore. Note that it can do this even if you set it up as new if you already have an iCloud account.

Also make sure you use the charger that came with the iPad. My phone charger has less power and takes much longer, for example.

If you are using it while charging it can be slow, it can even not keep up with the power use and decrease in charge state. Jusat plug it in before bed and it will be 100% in the morning.

I have noticed it takes about around 3 hours to fully charge my 10.5" IPP (depending what % it's at when I plug in). I also leave it sitting on my table and not use it until it's completely charged.

It will take much longer if you use the bundled power adapter. If you use a 30 watt adapter it will be much shorter.

I use my 5 watt old iPhone charge - I will get back to you in a week with the numbers.

The USB-C chargers (29W/30W) are worth the money - of course it should have been included with the 12.9 at least. I use my iPad for work as well as play - and to be able to get a nice chunk of charge in an hour comes in handy in a pinch.
