I’ve had my iPad Pro 12.9 128gb Wi-Fi 6th generation for 3 weeks
About every other day it shuts down completely and won’t respond or turn back on unless a hard reset is done. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Shutdowns are not a common issue so the only suggestion your going to get here is to completely restore your iPad using iTune/Finder and see if it fixes it.. Another option is to take it to Apple and have them diagnose the issue..

This happened to me once on my M1 iPad Pro after the 16.1 update. I think it’s software related and a bug

Can you see any unusual things in the log files?

Sounds like a hardware issue where it overheats and shutsdown to avoid frying itself. Pretty common symptoms definitely the CPU is not making good contact with the heat spreader. Have Apple replace it. There’s no saving this.
