new ipad pro doesn't recognize inputs from my thumb? lol

Weird problem. So my thumb gets recognized no problem on my iPhone X but for some reason my iPad pro 11 can't recognize inputs from my thumb only. Got no problems with other fingers.
Anyone with similar problems..??

You have a screen protector on by chance? I had the exact same issue when I had a glass screen protector on. Inputs from my thumb would often not register.

YES! I have a Jetech glass screen protector on...

That explains it, every screen protector out suffers from this, manufactures are having to make revisions, see the long thread on this.
