New iPad speaker quality - is it just me or...?

I did an A-B comparison with my iPad 2 using a MiB 3 trailer off YouTube and with a 320 kbps MP3, and I thought the new iPad speaker sounded subtly louder and clearer. I did notice it very slightly out of the box, but without the A-B comparison, I may not have concluded it was better.
